Curriculum

Getting Set Up

- Discuss industry standard DAWs, audio Interfaces, and mics.

-Discover what combination of equipment will work best for your budget, musical approach, and artistic vision.

-Learn how to take advantage of your space and set up a home studio by diving into room acoustics, bass traps, and first reflections.

-Learn how to set up a session with appropriate bit depth and sample rate.

*While having an interface, microphones, and a plethora of instruments is hugely beneficial when recording, none of it is absolutely necessary. Here is an example of a live looping session I did using just the built in computer mic, an acoustic guitar, and a lot of fun effects that I'm excited to teach you!
